36 hours laterWhen the eggs mature, the trigger injection is given; 36 hours later the eggs are collected painlessly under short anaesthesia.

In which situations is IVF treatment necessary?
IVF is the most effective method preferred in cases of blocked tubes, low sperm quality, diminished ovarian reserve, previous chocolate cyst surgeries, or unexplained infertility. It is planned as the next step when pregnancy cannot be achieved naturally or through insemination.
What is the success rate of IVF treatment?
Success depends mostly on the woman's age, ovarian reserve and embryo quality. Under age 35, pregnancy rates per transfer can reach around 50%, while over 40 the rate decreases significantly. After examination and testing, we share a realistic, personalised estimate with you.
Is IVF treatment painful?
The injections used have very fine needles and are well tolerated by most patients. Egg retrieval (OPU) is performed under short anaesthesia, so no pain is felt; embryo transfer is a painless procedure that requires no anaesthesia.
How many embryos are transferred?
Under Turkish regulations, a single embryo is transferred in the first two attempts for women under 35; in later attempts and over age 35, a maximum of two embryos may be transferred. Single, good-quality embryo transfer is the safest way to avoid the risks of multiple pregnancy.
What should I pay attention to after embryo transfer?
Bed rest is not required after transfer; you can return to daily life. We recommend avoiding heavy lifting, very hot environments (sauna, Turkish bath) and smoking. A blood pregnancy test is performed about 10-12 days after transfer.
